In-kind policy (naturapolis)

A basic insurance policy that fully covers care from providers that have a contract with your insurer.

With a natura (in-kind) policy, the insurer purchases care from providers and pays them directly. If you go to a contracted provider, care from basic insurance is fully covered (minus your deductible). If you choose a provider without a contract, you often get only part of the costs reimbursed; how much differs per policy and per type of care. In-kind policies are usually cheaper than restitutie (reimbursement) policies.
